Hello new week!
Hello website goodbye blog!
Growth! Still working on it!
It was my birthday on Tuesday the 21st!
Thankful for life and all that good stuff!
My birthday tradition has pretty much the same every year –I texlax and flat iron my hair -_-
That’s my own idea of turn up for my birthday
But not this year
Decided to do my regular cleanse, deep condition and all
Maybe next weekend I’ll texlax
I wigged it all through the week and I loved it!
Had two french braids aka matin for my naija peeps underneath my wig hehe
I make amazing wigs (natural looking) ones so feel free to get in touch with me!
Sooooo wash day went like this…
Anyho loosened my braids..
Was too lazy to pre-poo so I did a hot oil treatment with my special Zaynelane Natural Oil Mix (available for purchase soon)- a mixture of natural oils that can be used as part of your pre-poo, sealing or just plain daily use (I use mine on my skin, I haven’t bought/used lotion in ages.
Did an Apple Cider Vinegar rinse which left my hair soft and clean. Check my scalp out ayeeeee!
Cleansed with my Creme of Nature Argan Oil Shampoo, rinsed and applied some deep condition mix.
My deep condition mix contained a mix of Keracare Humecto Creme Conditioner, Keracare Intensive Restorative Masque,3 tablespoons of Raw Honey (Gotten from my village whoop whoop) and 3 tablespoons of Mayonnaise.. the perfect blend for moisture and protein for my hair! It looked like caramel yum yum! Used my Look Great Heat wrap as usual!
After about an hour, I rinsed with lukewarm water then Honey Water (2 table spoons of Raw Honey inside a jar of water)- left my hair feeling extra soft and silky!
Moisturize and Seal time! To retain the moisture and protein from my deep condition, used Aphogee Keratin and Green tea Restructurizer (protein) to strengthen and thicken my hair, Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen, Grow and Restore Leave-in Conditioner (protein), Almond Oil to nourish and strengthen my scalp and hair.
I have low porosity hair (basically my hair does not readily absorb moisture, so tends to be dry most of the time), this Keracare Leave-in Conditioner is an excellent for retaining moisture and my hair loves it so much! Mixed this with the Shea Moisture JBCO leave-in and it produced yummy results!
Hi new growth 🙂 🙂 🙂
Sigh texlaxed hair struggles, can’t wait for these relaxed ends to be gone forever!
To detangle, i always section my hair with clips, apply leave-in conditioner, finger detangle, comb then seal with my choice of oil.
It makes detangling easier!
All done and I left to air dry as usual!
Not bad, lost less hair yay I did something right this week!
Wash days are never easy but today was somewhat easy
